I will be giving Sugarnanny's aka Kathy's 5 sweet suggies a forever home. It's kinda funny how it worked out but it turns out I'll be closer then I thought I would be to Texas on Saturday. I live in Kansas so this is quite a distance but it is working out nicely and it feels very right!!. I just posted on her ad wishing her luck and she messaged me and it turns out it's working out perfectly. I'm super excited to get these suggies home and start spoiling them rotten. Thank you Kathy for trusting me and allowing me to be their new suggie mom and forever home. I promise to give you and everybody else LOTS of updates and LOTS of pictures. I'll be bugging them so much they will be begging for some alone time. I also want to thank you for being such a great suggie mom! She really just wants these babies to be in a good home and be loved. She is going out of her way to meet me and at no cost!. You are a kind woman! I can't wait and Saturday will not come soon enough!!.

I do have to finish sewing everything but I have all week to stay busy and keep my mind off of getting them so the more things I need to do the better..lol..

if you are making pouches they need to be wider than most because 5 just get too cramped in a standard size pouch and they are use to lined (2 layers) pouches. After talking with you I am excited that they are going to a loving home and I'm sure you will take good care of them. I will probably cry when you leave with them. Thank you for taking them, they will come with a stealth and wodent wheel in their cage

Thank you Kathy!. The pouches I am making are 14" wide and 12"deep with 2" boxed corners..Will that be big enough for the 5 of them?. I make them double lined so there are no seams and they are safe, warm and cozy. But I have to admit they are in MY favorite colors..lol..I hope they like them too. I won't blame you for crying. I would too!!. I promise to send you lots of pics though!!.

Then Friday will be here at we are leaving at 3 in the morning on Saturday so we can be there by 9...lol..It's sounds so short when I'm typing it but it's taking FOREVER!!.

Awww this is SO great! It will be the weekend before you know it!!! It's SOOOO hard to be patient. When I got my first two gliders I had to wait two days...which wasn't so bad you know. But it seemed like a life time! That was almost a year ago now. Time sure does fly when you're not waiting!!

I got my sweet babies yesterday and so far they are doing wonderful. I've been loving on them and there hasn't been to much crabbing. They were barking at me last night which I thought was hilarious!. They are in a different cage and of course are curious and all over the place. I just took a quick pic with my camera of their cage. I'll be doing tent time with them tonight so I'll get some close up's of my little group!. They have totally stolen my heart already and I love them. Thanks again Kathy.

Tent time went great!!! I'm SO stinking excited about how great it went. I actually didn't get to do much picture taking I was to busy playing and they were on my back most of the time so I couldn't even take a pic..lol..But my batteries are charging and ready for tomorrow's tent time. Here is a pic of George on my leg. They were all over me I couldn't even get them off me..lol. I had to ask my husband to come in with me just to get them in their pouch. I spent 2 hours with them in the tent and they still didn't want to go back in their pouch..lol..But I was able to hold and pet and love on each and every one of them. I can't believe how fast they are warming up to me. Tomorrow they will be on me all day in the bonding pouch so hopefully things will only get better. Kathy called them Daddy, Little Mama, Jr, Pudding and Tang. But my 4 year old as already renamed them..lol..Daddy is now George because he is SO curious, he's always the first out of the pouch and the sweetest little guy, The twin girls Puddin and Tang are now Peaches and Cream, they are darling and actually the ones that are warming up the fastest, I was kinda surprised to see that. We are still having a family debate over JR and little Mama's new names..lol. I'm betting I win though.

I'm so glad they found you, I handled the babies from the day they were oop so I am not surprized that they come around quicker than the others, I will try to get the pics posted of when they were first oop. I cried the first nite when I was feeding and playing with my others because Geirge was always the first out looking for some attention and a treat. I know they will get more attention with you and that is what they needed

It's always wonderful to hear happy endings. Good luck with your new babies!
Kathy, I applaud you for doing your homework and finding them a good home. So many dont when the decision is made not to keep them. This had to be so hard on you. I cant even imagine. <<hugs>>

I still have plenty to love on, my six original babies, thankfully. I felt that I wasn't doing right by all 11 because I just couldn't give them as much time as they all deserved. When I rescued them from Petco I new it would be too much for me but I thought I would give it a try and I had the males neutered as soon as I could. I am soooooo thankful they now have the right home.

Sugarnanny i understand i have 4 cages 12 suggies all together and if i ever run across someone that would take care of them like i do i would consider letting them go cause it is hard to make sure everyone has love and attention everyday thats why i dont get much sleep. lol but they would have to live close to me to so i can have visitation right. lol im glad u found them a great home.

I can relate! LOL! That's why I was happy to get Midori, Ella, and Hilary a great home with Staci. I know that she's giving them lots of love and attention.
My twelve year old "adopted" Billy, Miles, and Dot, meaning that we have glider-proofed her room, and she's their new mama. That way, I am right here to help her as needed, but she's keeping up their socialization. She's doing a fabulous job!

They are still doing great!!. They were on me for about 5 hours during the day in the bonding pouch. Tent time was a blast again last night. I'll update some pics later on. I got them some feathers and they LOVED them, it was hilarious to see them play with them. When I woke up this morning and came down the stairs (our bedrooms are upstairs and the suggies are on the main floor) They heard me and they all come out to get some love..lol..and snacks of course. Kathy they are darling and I thank you so very much for allowing me to be their forever home!!. I'm really already in love with them. This morning when they heard me and came out I opened the cage door and one of the sisters jumped out and onto my shoulder!!!. I about cried. I think they might love me too..lol..I'm able to hold all of them and pet them and I even got their nails trimmed with no bits..lol..and no crabbing!!. I know they had a great home before I got them and it shows just how much they were spoiled. I honestly can't thank you enough for these 5 darlings!! I'm loving every minute it.Theyw
