I have two boys right now and they're about 2 months old. They become friends right away when I introduced them which was really awesome and they've gotten along great since. However, there's another boy around my area that needs a new home. I'd love to take him but I was wondering what everyone's opinion on it would be, would three boys together be too many? I don't have any of them neutered yet either, I haven't worried about it since my boys don't fight ever. I'm wondering if it would probably be necessary to get them all neutered if I take in the other boy. This other boy is also about a year old if thats a factor. Thoughts?

You will need to get all the boys neutered, regardless of getting a new one or not. They probably don't fight now because they are not old enough to be sexually mature. Once they reach that point, you're probably going to have some ornery little guys on your hands! Plus, they will probably start marking a lot and stinking up the cage. It's always best to neuter.

And adding another glider, whether male or female, can always be hit or miss. With the other glider being older however, you will want to wait to introduce them until your two young ones have grown. It's ideal to introduce gliders of the same size.

But if you are going to try to keep them all together, then you need to fix your two babies ASAP before they reach sexual maturity. The older male glider MIGHT accept them if they don't act like sexually mature boys. But again, this will be hit or miss.

I think I need to wait until they're about four months before I can neuter right?

No-I had one nuetered at 12 weeks and another at 16 weeks. The vet said the most important thing is that they're at least 65 grams.
