okay so it turns out my glider girls may be over grooming i know they need to go to the vet and will but what can you do to stop them from over grooming on their heads by the way... jss wandering if anyone could tell me if there is something the vet could give them to make them to stop or something.. jss wandering sounds pretty stupid to go spend 80 dollars at the vet if he's just gonna tell me they're over grooming.. which i already know so like what will the vet do for this? thanks for any help -Cassy

If they are truly over grooming - they do need to see a vet to rule out any medical problems. In the meantime, you can put an e-collar on them to prevent them from causing further damage.

Sounds like it's stress related if the cage is that small. Take them out to play as much as possible until the new cage comes...the less time spent in the cage the better.

You just got them and plan on introducing them to your male after 30 days so now would be the time to take them in anyway. You're not going to want to keep an e-collar on them indefinitely or until the fur grows back. Like Rita mentioned, you want to rule out other medical problems, like skin mites or something like that.
