Im going to check what the laws are on base, normally they are different then the state so if they are we will have to move on base... if not im going to see if my mother will babysit them for a few months until hubby gets deployed then i will be moving back to colorado with her and will have them again... i hate the military!!!

If it's a no go, Lucky Glider Rescue & Sanctuary is not far - in Vegas. We can help you to rehome them in a legal state...

if she is only going to be there a few months and her mom cant babysit for her could you take them in for a bit. you probably are still over flowing with gliders that need homes but she could donate some money for your help and for her gliders care. just hate to see a glider that is going to a good home but has to be re homed because she is going to California for a few months. or if you havent already found them a home by the time she leaves for colorado you can give them back to her or she can adopt another pair. but im thinking she will be ok if they allow animals on the base.

It isn't so much if they will allow the animals on base. It's an issue of finding a vet that could treat them if something happened to them or if they got sick.

I'm in Colorado Springs. Can babysit her gliders for a few months if she wants to drop them off on the way to California then pick them back up when she moves back in with her mother. It's not so much having different laws on base (San Diego?) as different jurisdiction so my guess is that they won't let her keep anything on base that's illegal in California.

I have to admit moving around from place to place has to suck. Not just for us but what about all the stress it does to our pets. Just puting our one dog in the car to go to the vet is to much stress on her. After the trip she hids for a couple of days. She hates the car. Good luck with whatever u do with your gliders.
