I noticed this today and I quickly snapped an image. What is this? Should i immediately take her to the vet?

I would call that a testicle sac.

Well from just one fuzzy photo, it doesnt look like an inverted pouch or anything like that. Im still voting for balls.

I think it looks like an inverted pouch...or at least one that's been groomed more than normal. My girls have done this.

So get a hand on it and see what it is. If it is pouch, you should be able to stuff it back in.

ok...so should I just let it go and watch it for a few days? I was immediately going to cancel school and run her to the vet tomorrow, but if its something normal then I'd rather not terrorize her

A clearer pic would be great, but if that's all it is, I would just keep an eye on her. My guess is it will be back to normal tomorrow. As long as there's no inflammation, redness, crustiness, odor, etc... I wouldn't worry.

I still think you should just keep an eye out and my money is on it being back to normal tomorrow. Of course, you should call the vet if you feel uneasy about it or notice anything else abnormal starting to show with it.

Right, so now that doesnt look anything like a testicle sac so we'll go with a more obvious pouch issue. Inversion it is.

Well, as much as Terry also cracks me up - from the first picture, I would have said testicle sack also!

Now- maybe a pouch infection? The fact that it isn't bright red is good however, so - keep an eye on it. If she doesn't fix it by herself in a few days, a vet check would be in order.

yea I called my vet today and they said as long as she is eating drinking, active, and otherwise happy, that Its not an emergency and to monitor her for the next few days and to bring her in this weekend if nothing gets better.

Um, unless I'm mistaken, isn't the pouch 'lips' above the circle in the 2nd pic? If so, I'm guessing overgrooming or a sore of some kind...though it doesn't look irritated.

ok I'm happy...I don't know why she didn't put it back herself or why I had so much trouble getting it in, but I finally managed to push it back so I am pretty sure it was indeed her pouch. Theres still a bit sticking out that she wont sit still long enough for me to finish the job, but now that I know it was just an inverted pouch, i'm not worry about it too much. If it stays out much longer I will take her to the vet, if anything so she can put everything back in its right place, but I'm not worrying about it being a life or death situation.
