So after purchasing Tiberius, my leu male, the girl I got him from still had his brother and was going to rehome. After a week of so, she emailed me, saying he was overgrooming and was barking, looking for his brother. She gave him to to be reunited with his brother.

So, welcoming Tabris to my happy home of suggies. He is crabbier than his brother though!

We play with her every day, she has been pooping on us the last few days when we take her out to play. Please help. We don't know where to start on this issue. She is also very protective in her cage and pouches.

 Cage Help

Wanting to get a Sugar Glider cage online. I'm having major trouble because I want one that would be good for her but nothing that's HUGE like all the one's I've been seeing. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a cage I can buy that's Glider-friendly but also not a huge space consumer??

Am I On The Right Track???

Posted by: AmberRenee

I have had my glider, Gomez, for two weeks. He is currently 9 weeks old. He had odd behaviors and i do not know if those are normal for ones so young. First, He runs away from me in his cage, but when i hold him he doesn't try leaving me. He will crawl all over me, but not get off unless it is to explore. Is that normal?
Second, he LOVES being pet and massaged to sleep. Sometimes even sung to sleep. Sometimes, though, he crabs if i try to massage or sing. Most times not. Normal?
Third, He HATES veggies. and he only likes apples! The only fruit he will eat is apples. he turns away from anything else. He eats pellets that the woman i bought him from gave me, and there are a lot, but when those run out, what will he really eat? He loves bread though, too.
Fourth, He is bipolar to me. Sometimes he will come right up to me in his cage, and other times, he will crab and use his "tough guy act" (that i do not show fear to) and run away. If a family member is holding him, he comes right back to me if i place my hand near him.
Fith, the only noises he makes are crabbing, sneezing, and he purred once or twice.

He is only 9 weeks old and i have had him for 2. He does not have a play mate (other than me) but i give him PLENTY of attention. I am with him about 14-18 hours of the day. He is usually in a bonding pouch in the day, but sometimes he just sleeps in my sirt on my chest without one. I love him so much and i spoil him rotten. I need to know if i am on the right track with the bonding process. I have had him for two weeks and i know bonding takes months to years, but other than hand feeding him and always being with him, what can i do to help with the bonding and make him happy? (btw, i am getting another glider in a month or two to keep him company while i sleep so he isn't lonely).

He is only 9 weeks old and i have had him for two.

 Is My Glider Okay?

Posted by: Ramble12

My glider has not really played at night in about a week & he has not ate his Veggies or fruit in 2 nights, He will eat his meal worms but not his pellets. We got him November 30th of 2012, He had just a little bit at the bottom of the bag of his pellets that he came with. He was happy the first night playing & everything, Then when he ran out of his pellets he stop acting like that. We bought some glider pellets at Petsmart but he DOES NOT like it, So we had to take it back. We are ordering him the pellets he came with so hopefully that works. He has ate a piece of apple in his pouch but he is not getting out to eat. So can anyone tell me what could be wrong with Ramble?? The previous owner didn't have any calcium, so could that be the reason also?

Here is Ramble when he was playing lol

A happy little family for Rue.

Most of you know Rue's story. And most of you know that Rue and Liv have two joeys now! I'm just going to post this journal because I am so excited for my Rue. He went from being a lone joey in a small cage, being fed pellets and apples, with nothing but a sock laying in his cage....to a big 100 gram adult, with a pretty mate Liv, and two babies. Rue loves his little family. He loves to cuddle and groom his joeys. While Liv does feed them, I feel like Rue actually cares for them more. Anytime I hold a joey, Rue is anxiously waiting right there, making sure his baby is safe.

I'm really happy for him and Liv. The joeys are growing nicely! They are starting to play with eachother. Hopefully I'll see them out exploring the cage soon! Today they are 5 weeks and 1 day oop.

 Got my sugar gliders today!

Posted by: JustinP

Hello. You may have seen me on the forums lately and I have finally got my gliders today after much research! YAY! Well they are little joeys. They are healthy and all! I can't wait for what surprises the next few weeks and months have to come! We have one WF female and one standard gray male. I can't wait to see these little furballs grow up right before my eyes! Wish me luck! In the first few hours we have had them home. We have set up the cage and bonding with them for an hour then they decided they wanted to go to sleep for a little while :) The male showed some intrest in the wheel and the female is now too. Funny thing. The male went up to it and cautiously spun it with his front "hand" ;) Then he went back to his pouch. They are also a little cautious with everything they do. Taking in their surrondings must be tough! A new house and a new cage and new people, new sounds ALL IN ONE DAY! We have ordered more toys and they will be here soon.
