It was hard/easy at the same time. Work hours about ten over two days. But I built a 6' high by 4' wide by 2.5' deep. Here are some pictures if i can show you. this was the starting point Build a skeleton. (easy part even with a hand saw) Step two cover with netting (no power tools used) Blisters and zipties. I could tell you stories. Finito.

I used regular white pipe. Very light. Only about thirty pounds. Thanks very much It wasn't super easy but not too bad either. I would suggest building one for everyone.

Love the cage! Where did you find the netting? I'm in the process of getting everything together to build my own cage. Only thing I can't find the right kind of netting to cover it! Also how exactly did you build the doors?

The doors are still a work in progress but for now its just wired to the frame and opens downward. I need to find a better way to attach it. If you have any ideas i'm all ears. Thanks for the complements guys!!

Sorry but building the one is enough for me. Unless of course you want to pay me. Then its $15 per hour plus cost of material. Since this was my first try and it only took me about ten hours your really only looking at about 8hours labor and $95 in material. If the female I am getting today is too mean or vise versa then the smaller cage goes to the antagonist.

You don't want Catman building your cages. He'd never get 'em out of the kitchen!

you could send it in sections or by the walls and doors (some assembly required;])

Did you use the hardware cloth or hardware net? I picked up the hardware net cause it looked a lil less chewable but am wondering about how much more difficult it will be to work with. I also bought small hinges and am brainstorming how to get them to screw into the pvc and not work their way out. What I'm thinking is to use that spray foam insulation to fill the pipe and then use loctite when I insert the screws-any second opinions on whether this will work well? I took in an amputee and his bonded buddy 3 weeks ago and their quarantine time will be up this Sunday so I've got to get it finished and suggie safe by then. I feel like such a bad mommy with them in their temp cage for so long and only getting tent time instead of suggie room time. I've stuck with it though to keep all my guys safe but can't wait to let them have their time roaming the big room and in the bigger cage. I usually use the ventilating shelving for cage building but thought this route would be a lil softer on his nub leg than the harder metal.
