Thought you might get a kick outta this. David received a radio-controlled Flytech Bladestar from his son for Christmas.
Be sure to catch the ending.

That thing looks dangerous - but also a whole lot of fun!!! I was worrying about your furniture - just envisioning huge cuts and nicks!

Kyro, I just about spit coffee all over my computer when I read what you wrote. And no, Rita, it really isn't all that treacherous. The wings are dense foam, and Hubby says that they're really too soft to do any damage....which is why I wasn't sweating bullets even though four of my largish original oil paintings are in that room.

brian and my youngest son had one of those a couple of years ago, really neat. he also had a couple of gas and battery powered helicopters, now those are dangerous. they have been known to seriously hurt or kill people, i am glad he sold those.

My son got one of those and he says he just loves it. He said it was mostly styrofoam and am happy it will keep him busy while cooped up indoors up in MA during the winter months.

Thanks! David built that shelf 8' high above the dining room specifically for "Troy". I got reeeeaaaallly bored about 20 years ago and crocheted him, then hooked him like a rug. He has frightened many a pizza man when we had him in our foyer in the last house. I keep wanting to mechanize the tail to twitch ever so slightly.

Ha Ha - This is just for you Rhea! Don't show Tim!!
I spent a year and a half making that tiger. It was crocheted in chunks that were about a foot square (except the head), then hooked like a rug. I sewed the pieces together bit by bit as I completed them. My husband claims that he only married me for my tiger.

He read the entire thread (Spin The Human Revisited) where I threatened to auction him off, and just shook his head and cracked up laughing.

Oh he loves it! And the little devil uses it too. That's why he has the top sales at the Tiger Direct store where he's a geek - he targets women and men with long hair like him.

Oh me too. We don't get a promotion or anything for sales but my customer service scores are high for a reason. And when anyone wants to yell about something they try to get them to talk to me because apparantly I look like i'm going to cry and they walk out apologizing. :D
Thats the best I can imitate my look when i'm being yelled at. I'm sure its a little more genuine when I am being yelled at.

Well, I actually told him about the Spin the Human one, too. He laughed when I told him. But ... I didn't have him read it!

That's freakin' hilarious!! And ... I sure wouldn't want to yell at anyone with that look. I'd feel like Jack the Ripper. Too funny!

Yeah, this feels a bit strange but yeah...good looking. I have always found men with long hair attractive and I married a man that shaves his head once a week...hum.
