Seeds and nuts really aren't a good idea for gliders. A lot of people make the decision to not feed them to their gliders, myself included. If you're going to do it anyway, then it MUST be in serious moderation. And I would not feed the seeds from that flower you got if for no other reason than pesticides. And if your going to feed seeds or nuts then they HAVE to be plain. But in all honesty, they're just not good for gliders, period.

I've given mine sunflower seeds as an occasional treat. They don't have to be raw but I agree, no tsalted or flavored.

*Once in a while* I sprinkle a few roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds on their salad. Gliders love them, but they're not good to give too often.

Mine LOVE any nuts. I only give them as treats if they are fresh. They go CRAZY for pecans. They are so fattening. Anyone know if they are ok as treats or are they too bad?

I've tried peanuts with Luna before, but she just turned her nose up. She rathered bite my Dad's fingers after he was done eating them.

I also give mine sunflower seeds on occasion. They do love them. As a treat now and then they are fine.

Sesame seeds are good for gliders and are a good source of calcium. I sprinkle some on their food and they love them too. You can add them in their scrambled eggs as well.
