Interesting! When I have more time, I want to go through some more links on the ASGV site. You have to be a licensed vet to get into a lot of it though. Looks like they have instructions for an e-collar.

I watched the Potty Training video and would just like to say that if I wake mine up and let them "hang out" for a few minutes they will go potty and then if stick them in a pouch or pocket, I do not have any problems with them going on me.

They generally do not wake up during the day anyway (seeing how they are nocturnal) so I'm not sure I am impressed with this as a "technique".

I will watch try to remember to watch some of the other videos tomorrow when I have more time.

Thanks Von for pointing out PPP propaganda. Do you work for them? Love the wonderful vet approved cage in the background, and of course, the wall of accreditations. By the way, his hands have been ripped to shreds by incorrectly holding gliders with unmanaged nails.

asgv is fully created and funded by our pals who keep hyping about unlicensed forums. it is one more step towards their methodical effort at getting rid of the community at large and completely taking over the industry from absolutely every angle.

Unfortunately I don't believe the little bit about not going to the bathroom where they sleep.

Luna wakes up quite frequently during the day, and instead of leaving her pouch just tinkles right there.

Other than that, I wouldn't quite consider that potty training. More of just letting them empty their bladders and such before playing. Not to mention...Luna would eat me alive if I ever held her that way on her back!!!

yeah i don't really like the way he is holding those gliders... I have always just let my girls run around their cage for about ten minutes after waking up and they do their business and they stay asleep all day for me.

I also don't care much for the way he wants you to pick up or "handle" the gliders it is unnecessarily rough and they don't like to be held against their will anyways.

Forget the sugar glider diet video. He's got one about disciplining them and teaching them not to bite! I was tearing up watching this video!!!

Ah, I haven't seen that one yet, I truthfully don't know if I want to watch anymore of his idiotic teachings. I truly feel bad for the thousands of glider owners that follow his teachings just because they do not know any better.

OMG!! That mess cannot really be out there!! How in the world can a so-called vet be preaching that crap?? And do you notice at the beginning of each video and on that excuse of an official looking website they are BASHING all the forums and "privately owned" websites, like this one... Oh, and has anyone watched his warning about glider rescues?? I WANTED TO PUKE!! Anyone have the guts to shoot that particular link off to Ed? I couldn't believe the audacity of not only saying what he said about glider rescues but also what he said about how basically there was no issue with homeless gliders and that rescues were nothing but fronts for illegal breeding operations. I couldn't believe this. Given the connection to PPP, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? I've only watched three out of the dozens of videos and my head is already spinning.
