2:dehila_2020 i will not sit and here and not defend myself when someone call me an idiot!! and wont stop calling me disrespectful. i have as much right as any1 of them to post my opinion. yes i know it gets off subject some of the time but its only to prove my point and/or opinion. i have manners. better then some adults. but it does not help me show them when people keep saying bad things about me. it a reflex to me to defend myself. nuf said.

Suggieluver02, when you got off topic it wasn't to "prove your point and/or opinion", it was to basically advertise your own question. Not to mention at the point you started throwing a hissy fit about nobody answering, your topic had only been up for about 20 min.. ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT. And nobody called you an idiot. They merely called you disrespectful. Which you were and are continuing to be. I'm hoping you have more patience with your gliders than you do with people. Sheesh.

Mollysmom: I also agree. This is a fantastic thing you are doing. You're asking for almost nothing for all that. I too wish I were not on the other side of the country so I could help out!

I think we may have found some help from a fellow Michigander who's going to a gathering in Indiana next weekend! I am hoping so, anyhow. I can get the cage apart, but we'll have to bungee cord the trunk part way closed. I just don't think it would be a good idea to drive five hours like that. I am trying to hook up with another glider mom from Mount Pleasant with a van somewhere along her route to get these girls to Staci.

Sorry I sort of went off like that. It is not typical at all for me. It's been a very, very challenging weekend around my house, and my emotions have gotten a little out of control. Hey, maybe it's from too much sugar, too!

I suggest you go back and read again what I said. I never called you an idiot and none of it was a personal attack. If the situation had been reversed and you were the one who was wrongfully insulted when you tried to help someone out, I'd be defending you.

Better yet, forget reading my posts again. Go back and read the VERY disrespectful post YOU made in response to Goldwinger just trying to help you out. Yes I understand that you and Goldwinger worked everything out, but you still shouldn't have reacted the way you did. It was VERY insulting.

Oops! My last post should have read that Gliderma (Lynn) and I have managed to work out transport for these babies from my home in Michigan to the OHIO GLIDER GATHERING!!!

If anyone from Indiana or maybe even the Chicago area is going to the OGG that can help us get these girls to Indiana, please get in touch with myself or Staci ASAP. Remember, there's that cage to contend with!

TBallettoes & Mollysmom - Sorry, I am no where near you folks but I have a couple suggestions - First, it might be easier for you to start a fresh thread and be very specific with the locations that the gliders need to be moved from and to.

It also would help to let people know that a very large cage is involved. Can the cage be taken apart to make transport easier? It will be difficult for many folks to get a cage that large into their car all in one piece. Let folks know the dimensions of the cage if it is flat. That will help folks determine if they should volunteer.

It is one thing to transport gliders in a small travel cage for someone who might be traveling that direction. It is entirely another matter to ask for volunteers to move the large cage also.

You might also check on other glider boards such as GliderCentral (www.glidercentral.net) and look in their state forum to find glider folks in the areas you need help.

Good Luck. It may boil down to meeting half way with vehicles that can handle the cage. You might ask friends/family if they have a car or truck that would handle the cage.

Mollysmom - I hear ya! I am so exhausted it's not even funny! I work with kids during the day, then come home to my three nephews (5, 7, & 15) and whoever invented this holiday needs to be shot! Lol! Between dealing with their sugar highs and crashes for the last few days, taking them trick or treating in the rain, dealing with last minute decorations, and attending two adults only parties in the same amount of days, staying up until four in the morning both nights (in four inch stiletto boots no less! My feet are never going to forgive me!) indulging WAY too much in both adult beverages and more calories and sugar then I think I had all freakin' year... Um... Yeah, I was a bit grouchy myself this morning after getting woken up by the boys only four hours after crashing into my bed. I mean, really... They were all up until like 2 in the morning last night so you would think they'd sleep in but NOOO! They went PING! bright and early. Still high on the sugar from last night, I guess.

After figuring out that I was indeed capable of the miracle that is called walking, I went to make coffee and the oldest was being silly and trying to be funny/sarcastic about something that would have been at my expense. I looked him dead in the eye, pointed my finger at him and told him he was seriously short on self-preservation if he dared to finish that sentence before I had even had my first cup of coffee!!

It's a mark of how well trained he is ( and how serious I was in that moment while he stood between me and my precious coffee maker) that he promptly hushed!
