I've been trying to google PPP, so I get some more info on it and try to help the situation, but when I google it all that comes up is websites against it. (Not that that's not a bad thing!

Since this site was the first time I ever heard of sugar gliders, imagine my surprise after I actually did some research! Its sickening the way they just lie to people. Imagine all the poor gliders in horrible conditions because of them..
Perhaps PETA would be interested in this cause? Just an idea.

thanks kyro..guess i should read a lil more..I do agree PETA is crazy, basically i just know them for throwing red paint on people..

Exotic pets get less attention by everyone including Peta. There are even few laws about exotic pets. Native wildlife is protected much more than exotic pets are.

I've been vegan for 8 years.. and have friends on full time staff at peta... be careful lumping them all together.

there is peta... who have a complete legal team, research dept., etc with specific goals and criteria... of which they have an excellent success rate within those goals...

and then there are teenagers in peta shirts, who are on peta street teams... who do some pretty crazy stuff.

yeah, peta does some questionable things.. but the majority of things attrivbuted to peta are done by those not on full time staff. animal rights, both fortunately and unfortunately, has been a strong, popular trend for a few years now.. its great for awareness and results.. but it also brings consequences of a broad range of zealots.

You should share some discussion with your friend and see if there is any way that PETA can help the our community shed some light and/or act on the problems in our world.
