Last night I heard a new sound I hadn't heard before. The sound was something like a zipper opening and closing over and over again. Any ideas for what that sound could mean?

Hmmm.....could you be talking about the crabbing????? Or is it more like a 'hissing' sound?

Noe, think about a zipper being zipped up and down over and over again. I've had Snickerz for over 3 years and Twix for February and I have never heard this noise and they were fine and healthy this morning when I checked them over

Can you see if you can get a recording of it? I am not recalling my gliders making any sounds like that before.

I think I might know what you mean. For lack of better words, I call it a half-ass crab. It seems so be like a "hey, you're sitting on my face" sound or when one is trying to take food from the other. To me, it's a sound of annoyance if we're talking about the same thing. It's usually pretty short-lived.

I call it fussing. It's a noise I never heard til I had more than one. I listened closely a little while ago, when I handed out mealies, and it does sound kind of like a zipper.
