Abby you have to stay a member....got to see the pics of your babies grow up.
Oh for sure. Isabella (my 7 yr old) will be hounding me the day after you guys leave to see pictures of them already...lol She is as attached to them as my husband and I. I look forward to meeting you and Dave. I told him if you guys were up to it we could have dinner together. Assuming my husband has no further attacks that is. I just told him to steer clear of all the places we have had the sugar gliders until I have a chance to really get things sanitized for him. Keep your fingers crossed...lol He got his voice back almost completely. Still sounds a bit scratchy but still much better than last night. The weezing is almost completely gone now. Whew... Thanks again! Abby
Some photos from our members davegerbil Face Hugger 406 Posts Nancy and I will be leaving about 7 tomorrow morning. Looks like some rain on the way up, but it should be sunny on the way back on Sunday. Yes, I agree, this feels like a perfect fit. I had my car serviced this afternoon in preparation for the trip. I was telling the gal at the service desk what we were doing and she looked at me like I was completely insane. Hmmm, I wonder what she was implying. This forum is amazing. We hang out on some of the ebay chat boards, too, and it's amazing how self-contained communities can develop. We'll post all about our adventure when we get back. Love to all, - Dave & Nancy; George & Gracie [gliders]; Abbie, Audry, Apollo, Ashley, Noobs, & Sprocket [hamsters]; and Patches [guinea pig]. draneinc Joey USA 14 Posts Abby, Hi it's me shannon and I appreciate dave speaking for me I could have come to pratville but I'm not real familiar with the area. I understand completely about not wanting to leave him for that long I would've felt the same if it were my husband. We had some bad news last week about my mother-in-law. She was diagnosed with breast cancaer and I had to take her in for pre-op yesterday and couldn't get back to the computer until today. I'm so glad that you found them a good place. I'm sure Dave will be wonderful. I appreciate you guys considering us we would have loved to have them. My daughter is a little disappointed but I'm sure there will be other gliders who need us. I hope your husband continues to get better and Mr. Dave if you ever find anyone that needs help just send us a line. I'll be listening out!! Happy Gliding!! thanks, draneinc tracymarie5 Starting Member 4 Posts was he allergic to the females or just when the male came?
BrighterDays Joey USA 25 Posts Wow, what an amazing thread! Too bad I missed everything, I've been busy at work for the past few days and I always join the threads late :( I'm glad everything worked out, and if Dave ever needs a hand, I just realized that I live in almost the same town he does... don't be afraid to ask! Glider mommy, good luck with the rabbits! I'm sure they are cute ^_^
