Janae you should have the WHOLE triangle part on the outside of the cage and the bar down the back on the outside and then the bar that the wheel attaches to poking through the bar. Zip tie everything the way you currently do and the wheel will be steady. The triangle part going through the cage the way you have it creates a bigger hole area that your babies may get stuck in.

You got it. Looks good to me. Now there is no opening on the top for them to possibly get stuck in. I don't think the wodent wheel comes with wall mounts does it?, just the stealth wheel. If I'm wrong please let me know because wall mounts for the wodent would be great for Anon and Fivel's Octagon cage (that I hate...lol).

I do have an idea though for hanging a wodent wheel from the top even though the octagon cage doesn't have a grate across the top of it. If I can get it to work I'll post pictures on a new thread for those who have Octagon cages and wodent wheels they'd like to hang.
