my mom said she saw a post the other day saying there was something you can spray or something to a angry glider nicer... if this is true i need a super large amount. kadi is the most hateful glider in the whole world and if there is somethig that can help please send it my way.

Do you spend time with her in the bonding pouch? That tamed my girl down considerably when I got her.

yes i try to play with her but she would rather eat me. i have had her almost a year. i got her when she was 9months old and she hasnt gotten any better justworse. nibbler was the same way for a while but she is way better .she never bites and if she does its nothig serious. but kadi starts screamig if you just look at her. i just dont know what to do with her. thanks for the link ill look now

yeah she is really bad. i havent ever held her outside of the bag im scared of her lol. i have tried everything. garden gloves , actually taking the bite. holding her for hours on my chest, treats. you name it i have tried it. its just insane how mean she is. do you think it would be bad to sell her and try again for nicer glider??

I would give it some time with the spray, maybe it really will work.

I bought that spray. I got it yesterday. I read the directions and I used it last night for tent time. It was amazing. All three of my glider's from the "Crabby Madhouse of Misfits" colony, you know Jack, Luna and Milk Dud acted completely different towards me. Luna who never comes near me just crawled all over me. She went into my shirt, let me pet her endlessly and just was all over me. Jack was just about the same as he's already a pretty calm glider. Milk Dud has gotten so she hangs out on me alot in the tent anyway but she usually hangs out on my shoulder where I can't touch her but last night she stayed close by and also let me just pet her and stroke her and she crawled into my hand. She didn't stay there but the point is she got there at all. I was kind of impressed with the reaction I got from my gliders because of it. It has a pretty nice scent and reminded me of musk oil. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but I plan on trying it again but maybe not tonight. To much work to do to play tonight. I'll keep everyone up on how it goes with the spray. Is anyone else going to try it?

what makes them so calm with the spray? if its safe I will get it also because it will really help with clipping nails and it may help a bit when it comes to intros between gliders?

Nibbler-N-Kadis Mommy - my first one is that way, although, i did get him from the unmentionables.. i've had him since October 2007 and can't touch him, he's even lunged at me when i reached in his cage!!

It would not be good to sell her and break up a bonded pair just because she's not so nice. We need to remember when we get gliders that some will just never bond. You can always get another glider to introduce to them but I would not sell her and break up the bonded pair.

well maybe she is just one of those gliders. ill do anything to get her to love me even if it is drug her with happy spray lol. but if yall think i shouldt break them up i surely wont. everyone here has always given me good advice. but i might get one more just for fun.

Eveery is correct in telling you not to break up a bonded pair. Gliders get very attached to each other and can actually grieve to death if they are separated from their colony members. Even tho Kadi may not be what you need, she is certainly what Nibbler needs. And Kadi needs stability in her life.

There is no guarantee when getting any glider they will be cute and cuddly lap babies. In fact, your chances of getting another just like Kadi are much higher. So why not keep her with her friends and try hard to win her over with love.

i got my spray today!!

Does this spray help intros? I don't have a problem with my gliders and me, but they have a problem with each other. I have a single male, and a single female and they both attack each other everytime I introduce them. I have been trying for over a month and not sure what else to do, but sell them because I can't have two single gliders. They will get depressed.

i dont know that it would help with them. you could maybe put it in the bag and put them in it but im not really sure. and i dont think that single gliders are really a bad thing. i had nibbler alone for 4 years and she was fine and dont act any diff now that kadi is in the picture well maybe a little more crabby lol but thats just me. are they hurting each other or just crabbing when you do the intros?

Well they chase each other around the cage, they jump on each other, pull each others tails, they ball up, crab, and run away from each other. I check them out to make sure they are ok. There are never any bite marks or scratches, but they really don't like each other.

Are you introducing them in one or the other's cage? They should be introduced somewhere neutral to both of them. Have you swapped their toys/pouches? Are their cages close together? (not close enough for them to reach each other)

Yes. I tried all of that. I swapped their sleeping pouches, cages, there cages are close, and I introduce them in the bathroom. Not sure what to do about them.
