My little baby boy got out and i cant find him.. What do i do? HELP

Stay calm. Make sure all the toilet seat lids are down. Do not do any laundry until you find him. Check all the seat cushions...remember that gliders like tiny, warm places to curl up! Make sure any other pets are put up, so that they cannot get to him. Does he like mealies? Mine will generally come running if I shake a container of mealworms with the lid off. Check shoes, closets, etc.--just be very, very careful! Take no trash outside--he could be in a bag.

oh set out his food and water somewere were he could get it and a pouch and a wheel (you may hear him running in the middle of the night)

He is still a baby ive only had him a few days so hes not used to me.. But ill try those tips..thanks

The same thing happend to me, the first night I had juju. Stay calm, and look on curtuns thats were juju was.

dont forget to check all windows, shut all doors and make sure anyone entering your home (roommates etc) know that he is out and to be aware of open windows and doors.

Cydni, try to keep it as still and quiet as possible in the whole house. Sit still and listen. Whatever time he normally wakes up, that's the time you'll want to be listening for him. Put mealworms in a pouch and set it on the floor, as well as food and water; and keep his cage open. When you do see him, don't move!!! Let him go to the food dish, and if everything is really still, he'll probably head for either the pouch (to get the mealies) or his cage. (If you don't have mealies, try some other treat he really likes.)

I have heard of them being found in pockets of clothing hanging in the closet.

In shoes too. Under pillows and cushions. What Snusie said is true though. If you're really quite you can usually hear them. Attracting them with food is the best plan because they are going to come out for their evening meal anyway so be prepared. Leave a rope or something hanging from the cage to the floor so he can climb back into his cage if he doesn't go into the pouch you leave on the floor. Be careful where you walk in the night time as he may come running at you as you are walking.

oh2!jus take it as playing hide n seek with it.dun panic.my glider likes to play dat.he'll hide in cracks,dark places,even under the bed n all but close the windows n all! dun let him escape.if he's escape.. then i duno

I am so glad to hear this! I'm sure everyone else is also! I had an escapee a few weeks ago, but thank God that I was able to get her back in her cage! Take good care of the little guy and inspect the cage for sturdyness. Make sure he gets liquids and food!

Awww! He wanted to go back in where he was safe and comfy! Good sign.

I know I do feel sooo much better. I was starting to think he was gone forever. He got plenty of food and nectar water and lots of extra LOVE!

now go zip tie or otherwise secure all the doors on the cage - He'll try it again now that he has found a way to go play out side the cage.

I left the twist lock (sort of a reusable twist tie) off the Rascal's cage when I redecorated it for Halloween. At 2 am I had a glider barking in the cage and one in my room barking back! I checked the cage and there were 3 in the cage and 3 running around outside. Either three of them figured out how to open the small slide up door that was unlocked, or one of them was very polite and held the door for the other two!

Thankfully, one of the girls in the cage objected to missing the fun and barked to tell on the escapees!

good. idk wat id do if mine got out. i love her to death. my glider has her own room with the door closed and cage doors secured. when we let her out we block the crack under the door with a towel or something.but if she got out of her room. idt id see her again because i also have a 4 yrs. old cat.my cat is not much of a hunter. but i know she would try if sshe saw my suggie out. tat is y i have her in her own room!

thank gosh you found ur baby!!! Do you kno where he went to when he was hiding? Mine got out last month...my bf was holding them and heard the doorbell. went to answer the door, set them on the bed in their pouch without the pouch being shut...and then left forgeting they were there...omg i was sooo sooo pissed at him...When I came home i found one glider running around the middle of the floor...but my other one was missing....i was flipping out...come to find out he was snuggled up all tight and comfy in my bed under the covers..(i put them in my pocket and lay in bed with them alot...i cover them up and everything..they just purrr and purr and purr...lol) he wanted it be nap time...lol....thank god everthing was okay tho...:)
