This is my kids' second snow day in a row and I've spent entirely too much time online. LOL I cleaned the whole house and worked from home yesterday while we were stuck here. My son also happens to be sick so he's sleeping on and off. My daughter is working on a school project and I think this is the first time I've sat down to do "nothing" with the kids around in probably...how old is my daughter...14 years!!! This never happens! My hands hurt and it's AWESOME! No stress, no thinking, no work and it's snowing again. Plus, my babies are sleeping soundly in my sweatshirt. Now, should I change out of my pj's or go put on some sweats!? Decisions, decisions...
Snow sounds nice right about now. We are getting socked with rain AGAIN. I am so tired of rain. Sounds cozy there though. Stay in those PJ's and enjoy!
Oh dear. Snow is like my worst enemy. LoL. But it's raining here [surprise surprise for the Oregon coast huh] and I'm all curled up in my house with the heaters on. Doing nothing but being online and watching movies. With all four of my babies in my sweatshirt as well. =] Of course I get to do this all the time since my husband is the only breadwinner at the moment and we don't have kids. So enjoy it! It does get dull though.. so also be grateful for the chaos!
I know in the great state of TX it is much of a legend but it is real, I tell you!! There are great white flakes and frozen streams of water. There are also men made out of snow and the streets are salted. I have also heard of tongues stuck to poles-I think I'll choose not to prove or disprove that one.
There really wasn't a ton of snow here, just more ice than anything. Even this morning they did a 2 hour delay but the places where it still wasn't safe, they told people to either drive their kids to a main road so the kids could get picked up by a bus or their absence would just be excused if they called in. My daughter gets the bus at 6:19 in the morning so it's still dark...and very icy!
I am not jealous of the snow I am jealous of where you live!!!! I would love to live in CO Springs. Hubby and I actually looked at houses there once and he sent his resume in to a few places, but because of family we never really persued it. Maybe someday...
