After a long stupid week with nothing but bad news, I finally have a little bit of excitement!

First, we weren't going to be doing anything for Halloween. We are starting to put money back to take care of some debt so that we can buy a house. I was pretty bummed because I LOVE Halloween so I had decided I could atleast make spooky cupcakes and watch a ton of scary movies.

Well, Chris just called and he got his hands on two FREE tickets to the OU football game tomorrow! We're huge college football fans (I'm more of an OkState fan, he's the big OU fan). But this is his first college football game! And my first OU football game!

I'm a dork I know...but finally have just a little bit of something to be excited about.

Is that the song? LOL (I know it's "boomer sooner") but thats all I know. I always liked the cowboys OSU better. Probably cause I went to school there for a little bit....and because I like rooting for the underdogs. Go figure that I would fall in love with an OU fan!

The game was a lot of fun, I'm so glad they won! I'm sad that my cowboys (ncaa.....not nfl) lost though.

Maybe it is Boomer Sooner, Boomer Sooner - not Boom A Sooner! Ha ha! We learned all the state songs at camp and sang them every year for each state that a camper came from. It is funny how you change words when you don't really know or remember them. Anyway I think it is something like that. There are a few songs that just stuck in my head. Like the Ohio one - Round on the ends and hi in the middle. Tell me if you can. Don't you think its a gay little riddle? Round on the ends and hi in the middle. etc....

I don't know to much about OU other than the fact that they have a HUGE olympic size swimming pool. I used to go down their for highschool swim finals. As far as football i'm clueless. I enjoy watching my cousing play for OSU because he has worked so hard to get their, but I really wish I understood the sport more.

I didn't care much about football until I went to OSU (OKSTATE)...which by the way...is sooooo much better than OSU (OHIO) LOL Sorry, couldn't resist.

It's just different when you feel a connection to the school I think. PLUS I got to go to all the home games for free because I was an NCAA athlete. I was on the OSU womens equestrian team, which is an NCAA sport at that college.
