I made one with branches and my girls absolutely loooooove it! That way I don't have to worry about getting branches to stay with that wire (super tiny holes). I used the 1/2'' pvc pipe so they have enough to grip on. I made my own layout through painstakingly drawing it out like a million times. I can send you the layout if you need the dimensions. It is unfortunately to large to fit through a door so I have to clean it all with a rag instead of taking it outside to hose it down!

I also suggest getting a pvc cutter. I got one from home depot (the one that I got from Lowes broke after a few times) for like $15 and it looks like these large wide blades on this handheld scissor that is kinda like a wrench I guess? You have to push down pull up and so forth but it slices through it crazy fast and easy!

With my leftover pvc I am also thinking of making a little travel cage for super cheap! I'll get the pics and layout up after I do it this weekend!

I think I am going to start on one this Sunday. The cage my gliders came with is a little small I think.

What is the best wire to use for the outside of the cage?

The directions on the one I posted earlier said you can use landware clothe, but I was afraid there was a possibility that they may chew there way out so I used coated hardware clothe. More expensive, but much more sturdy.

Here's a pic of my cage that my husband helped me build for our quad.

I got the instructions from www.justforfuzzies.com. But, my husband modified ours so that we could have a pull out tray beneath the bottom. He also modified a couple other things, but I don't know what! LOL! He did the PVC, I did the zipties.

I'm going to be making a cage like that too. How did you guys do the corners? What type of wire mesh did you use? How did you connect it all? I love the way those cages look. Any advice for me? Thanks everyone.

These cages are amazing and I think I'm going to have to follow suit!! I've been looking at cages online and I just can't seem to find the right cage. Are cages such as these hard to clean?? How do you clean the mesh??? and like several other people have posted, how much did it cost??

Yeah I'm definitely going to make one. I'm also wondering about the cost. How much was it for all the materials? And how do you make the doors? I can't wait to make one!
