You are advertising a poor diet. Would you please post the ingredients of these pellets? Im sure we will all see they are not high quality, do not have enough protein and CA:PA ratios are not correct. There is no mention of fruits and veggies.

I do not advertise that as a complete diet. That is an ad for a pellet. Anyone who has bought a glider off of me can tell you that I spend upwards of an hour per person explaining proper care. I also encourage people to stay in contact with me if they have any questions.

But you tell them to mainly feed yogurt and fruit/veggies only on some days..? That isn't that great of a diet by the standards of most here.

Maybe if you could focus long enough to reply.

DO you have lineages on ANY of them?

I don't need to come to MI to see that.

Also at what age do you sell the joeys?

Also something called a camera can save me a plane ticket, generally. But you're not answering much I ask so I doubt that'd happen.

Why did you post here if you only pick and choose what you care to reply to? It's a waste of your time and ours.

I keep lineages on the lues and mosaics. not on the standards and whiteface. All of my gliders are at least 9 week oop before I sell them.

Great another fake PPP video. Thanks for that.

These same people say suggies bond with other pets, don't give joeys pouches, use a heating rock and to stick your thumb down a babie's throat.

No thank you.

I know you guys believe you are doing the world a great service by "exposing" an evil glider mill but I assure you I am well educated and experienced. If anyone wants to purchase a glider feel free to call. At that point I will have no problem sharing my information with you. This is what I do for a living. I have a small amount of glider; less than thirty. My room is clean and spacious and people are generally happy with the gliders and other animals they purchase from me. Again, I am not the best at replying online so if any one would like to call then I would be more than happy to debate this with you. 419-202-1903

Some people don't do so well on the phone - those people prefer to use the internet to find information.

As long as you aren't sharing your poor information with an unsuspecting public - you go ahead. I feel sad for your gliders.

But, I will continue to do what I do - educate! Let people know what is correct, and what is just WRONG in the glider world. There are many many people who are willing to learn, and don't believe that "their way is the only way." Those people understand that information about sugar gliders is constantly changing. And that there is no such thing as a "complete diet" that you can purchase in a pellet. Those people are willing to learn about handling, and cage size, and proper care, and diets, and toys.

Just reading all of this post and glancing at that site, I would be against purchasing a sugar glider from you based on your lack of communication skills. You shouldn't limit yourself to only talking on the phone.

I would love to have the time to sit online a type out paragraphs of info for people but the reality is that I don't. I have a family and other responsibilities. I take over 50 phone calls and even more emails a day with people asking for info on gliders. I simply do not have the time to respond to everyone in text. I can talk much faster than I can type.

Peope also thought cigarettes were healthy.

Most people are sheep and will believe what they are told unconditionally, regardless of how dumb it seems...

You're just proving our point by not actually replying. It just seems like you have something to hide...

Gliders are sap sucking animals who need fruit and veggies more than a few days a week... I can show you what a diet like yours does... You can come here and see my precious baby, Nova, cold and dead from a diet consisting mainly of pellets... Actually her diet in her previous home matched yours almost exactly.

You are a joke and poor excuse of a breeder... nevermind what kind of a person you are.

I bought some gliders from this man, and was very angry at myself after. I was not impressed at all by this man. His gliders were in horrible health, I bought 4 from him. one has hlp because of the pellet diet, 2 of the gliders tails are in horrible shape (loss of fur at the ends), one is halfway gone and curls under permanently. Assuming because they were bored and self mutilated. The "set up" given to me was 2 plastic tub like things (one with a rusty S hook attached to it), 4 plastic dishes with chew marks all over, 2 small bunny water bottles and a 2X3X2 cage... split in half by a plastic sheet, 2 on one side, 2 on the other... the cage had guillotine doors, looked as if it was starting to rust and no toys, no poles to climb... nothing. (also had to give it a good cleaning because for some reason their was old pin needles in it?) When I confronted him about the health of the gliders (throught text message) he said and I quote

"the gliders you got were breeders not pet quality. thats why they have problems with their tails and stuff"

I go you failed to mention the quality of gliders I was buying. I thought I was getting 2 pairs of gliders not gliders in poor health.

"the gliders are completely healthy. when you breed sugar gliders you get babies that are missing tail or limb from time to time. most people don't want them as pets so you keep them as breeders"

I go will she be able to use her leg again, will their tails grow back? so your saying they will be okay? Being that they were born this way does it mean they were imbread?

"their tails will not grow back but nipped tails are very comman. they are not deformed. all this happened after they were born when they were only a half inch big"

I was pretty angry at this point and stopped talking to the man because he was pulling things out of his you know what... sorry it's so long. I'd post it in the thread for everyone to know but I don't feel like arguing with the man. If you look on his facebook to me it seems he has TOO many animals to take care of them all properly. And only does it for the money.

I'm out of time right now but I have more to share later.
Thank you for reading.

wow!Thank you very much for sharing! he is only about an hour from me and I did consider going down there to check out his gliders before i purchased my rescued babies from someone needing to rehome them.. its so sad that my rescues from a girl who couldn't care for them were better off than the ones that you got from a "breeder" i hope you can make them babies feel better! There is no reason other than poor diet and poor care to make them like that!

I breed gliders. I'm not a big breeder by any means - I currently have 4 breeding pairs.

However, I've been breeding for 3 1/2 years now. In all that time, I've never once had a joey come OOP with a nipped tail or a missing limb. I certainly would not consider that "normal" at all - and if one of my pairs *did* mutilate their own joeys in that way, they would be retired immediately! The male would be neutered, and they would continue to live here as a pet only pair.

To call this "normal" is as absurd as PPPs former claim that giardia is "normal."

Outrageous!

Ive had gliders for a while now, I received a couple gliders a few months back that were very over weight, they passed on from liver issues. Then I received a male that was virtually hairless, he also passed. More recently I have gotten the 2 boys I currently have. <all these were rescues> I do parrot rescue and sometimes people surrender other pets. Anyway, I really enjoy the gliders. And I have 3 nice glider cages, and would love to give a home to more gliders...so I put out an ad, looking for another glider or two.

Anyway now that I rambled...I received a few warnings about this *ZAC* person. a few being on facebook, as I asked his fees on his babies. Which one may be from the person who all ready posted, so I wont bother c/ping that warning.
But this was in my email. Mind you, this person is rude to me, as they were asking for $300 for the gliders in question, and I was looking to pay less, and for one that was no longer wanted...so dont mind the rudeness...

~~~
I hope your getting from zak. They will be sick, require a vet visit and probably the male will be sterile just like my friends.
I try to warn everybody. The 300 I am charging is because I put 100 into the cage 150 in vet bills to make sure they are healthy and 200 into buying them. I have a lot invested in this economy but I went highend. I have sugar gliders that cost me 1000 each for great lineage. Because I want quality animals and only sell quality animals. A lot of people have gone to him cause he charges 100 for a pair that are sick, stained and usually so inbred that they are sterile.
~~~

Just thought I should put this out there too...so doesnt look like EVERYONE is happy with your service as you stated.

http://www.thepetglider.com/index/sugar-glider-colors/sugar-glider-colors.html go to the link and scroll to the bottom and you will see what a cinnamon looks like.
"Cinnamons are also a variation of classic greys with very red markings. They can appear very light or dark red." the glider in the post looks nothing like the one from the link, it just looks like a grey glider with a stained coat.
