This is A post to help spread how IMPORTANT a good diet actually is. I didnt think there was a post like it so i think its important we have one.
So, To start off. This Post, is for people to post Pictures of Gliders that they rescued or aquired that had been on Bad diets, and after that, You can Post an "After" Picture of the glider showing how much a difference it is when a glider is on a good diet.
Any Ideas, and/or suggestions for the post please let me know.

Here you go...
Before (on a pellet diet) and after (no pellets). Unfortunately, it was too late by the time I got him and he only lived 5 months with me. Per the necropsy, the damage to his liver was irreversible. All I did was prolong his life by a few months.
This was the day I got him:

He Looked SO much better after you got him Kylah. He was lucky you got him. a few months isnt much but its more than he had.

He looked really good after being with you. He probably would've died earlier had he stayed with the owner he was rescued from. It is a crying shame when people abuse animald of any kind...and yes, over feeding and feeding a bad diet is abuse.

At the time, I was feeding 25/25/50 but I feed LGRS Suggie Soup now.

This is Trinity shortly after I got her about two months ago. Not sure what she was fed. She had lots of cracking in fur and flat tail, bad BO.

Oh my, he's a biggin...Kazko is his bones even bigger then normal? He looks long and wider then a normal glider size.

See, that's the unfortunate thing Terry.. seeing a glider that huge makes me want to over-feed and give a bad diet so I can have a big fat squishy glider. (Yes I know it's not a regular suggie)

I dont have any pictures, but when I got my gliders their fur was looked wet and matted together, and their bellies were yellow. Now they have white bellies (minus the males scent gland) and clean soft fur :)

All four of my first group looked like that. After I got them home and compared them to gliders on here I was really mad. But it all turned out good they are all gaining weight and all are fluffy butts. I can even feel more body heat coming off them now. When they first came home and would jump on my back I could not tell where they were. Now when they jump on me I know they are there.

Wow! Thats one big flying rat you got there Kazko . You referred to ours as rats last week so I'm returning thr favor. He looks happy and healthy though. Now, I want one.

Here is a picture of Chester when I first got him in May. The people before me only had him a short time, but they were feeding him pellets, fruit fluff and cheetohs.
Here is a picture of Chester I just took an hour ago. He's been on the HPW diet since I got him.
