Mom2MandG Face Hugger 766 Posts I ditto what Glider_Mommy said! She said it all so well. You have been amazing for both of them and no, unfortunately you can't make them understand by telling them. They do have to learn it by themselves. I am sure that is frustrating for you as you want to make it all better. Maybe a little night night pill would be a good idea. It is so hard to function when you are exhausted. I hope Jess is getting the rest she needs. The babies are just beautiful!!!!! Thanks for sharing them with us. HUGS to you all! our2girlz Goofy Gorillatoes United States 2362 Posts Rita Glider Sprinkles MO, USA 12214 Posts
Holley Super Glider 381 Posts Rita! I am so glad to hear everyone is doing so well! Rosie is just making sure she is fussed over! I have faith she will be off that machine shortly! Sounds like Little Mr Harry is trying to show he is the BIG brother and is getting his strength together to make sure Momma sees how well he is doing! Sounds to me like you all have a wonderful family!!! sjabraham Glider WI, USA 107 Posts i just keep reading this post over and over, and hoping that everything turns out well.... i'm so glad that the little guys were born okay and are slowly recovering... i'm sure they already know how much their grandma adores them ;) i also hope your son and jess were given their privacy today. i know how hard that time can be, my cousin just had her baby (a premie as well), and she wasn't even able to hold her until one week had passed. it can be so hard, and sometimes i wonder if hospitals aren't being overly protective about the special ones. i also completely understand the crazy, up and down rollercoaster of emotions jess must be on, and your son as well! i just pray that they're able to work it out together, especially for your son to be able to understand and support jess while she works out those first few weeks of being detached from those precious babies. i'm sure they both will be wonderful parents, and those babies certainly have a loving grandma! Holley Super Glider 381 Posts What a wonderful Mother's day adventure! Congrats to the new family! I have to agree... such small babies are so scary... but it appears that Jess and Jim look like seasoned Vets! Have a wonderful Mother's day with your son, daughter in law and most of all those beautiful grandbabies! CritterHill Super Glider USA 291 Posts Aww Rita they are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pics with us. Tell Jess if she has trouble with milk supply, to eat lots of oatmeal. You can eat oatmeal cookies or like the Oatmeal Quaker bars if she doesn't like actual oatmeal cereal. I totally don't blame Jess for checking out early. It is hard to get good sleep and rest in hospital. She looks like she is doing really good too, I think I looked like a mess for 2 weeks after my C-Section. Well I still do. LOL Do they have many preemie clothes? I noticed in Walmart last night they had some on clearance. I have to check out the baby section every time I'm in there. It's an obsession. :P
