She had a wonderful time. Dancing, mingeling, having their pictures taken professionally. There were a few of her friends there as well so she didn't feel completely out of place. She was quite nervous as I said it was her first date. Her dad and I had already gone to bed when she got home as we had to go to work early today. I figured she'd call when she got home so we could let her in but just guess who was waiting up for her. Her older sister was just like a mother hen. It was just to funny.
If he (her date) didn't look safe enough her dad wouldn't have ever let her go. She'll be 15 in two months and I know the letting go is hard. She's our last baby and I can hardly believe these years are upon us.
Thank you all for your kind words. I think she's quite beautiful myself. Now you know I'm not in the least prejudice here. Anyway she had an absolute wonderful time and we got past the first date hurdle. Next hurdle is the driving permit. Oh my not again.
